Presentation Guidelines
We’re looking forward to an exciting programme of full-length talks, flash talks, and poster presentations at SCAPE 2026! Please read the guidelines below carefully to prepare and submit your presentation or poster. You’ll find information on presentation timings, assigned codes, and how to upload your files.

Full-Length Talks & Flash Talks
Full-Length Talks: 10 minutes + 2 minutes for questions
Flash Talks: 4 minutes, with no dedicated Q&A
Please keep your presentation within the allocated time. Full-length talks should be no longer than 10 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for questions. Flash talks should be no longer than 4 minutes, with no dedicated question period immediately afterwards.
Your symposium assignment and oral communication code
Each oral presenter has been assigned a symposium and an oral communication code (1–73). You can find both details in the SCAPE 2026 programme.
Uploading your presentation
Please upload your presentation as a PowerPoint (.pptx/.ppt) or PDF (.pdf) file, preferably the evening before your presentation, using the link below.
When prompted, enter only your oral communication code number (do not include “Full” or “Flash”).
You may also bring your presentation on a flash drive as a backup:
- Morning presenters: Submit your file to the technical team the evening before your presentation.
- Afternoon presenters: Submit your file to the technical team on the same morning.
- Presenters on the evening of the arrival day: Please upload your file in advance or hand it in immediately upon arrival.
A remote clicker will be available for all oral presenters.
Posters
Poster size: A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm)
Poster pitch: 30 seconds
Please prepare your poster in A1 format (59.4 × 84.1 cm) and bring the physical poster with you to the conference for display during the poster session.
Your symposium assignment and symposium code
Each poster has been assigned a symposium and a symposium code (e.g., S2). You can find both details in the SCAPE 2026 Book of Abstracts.
Poster pitch session – 23 October
All poster presenters are invited to give a 30-second pitch on the evening of 23 October, immediately before the poster session.
Your poster will be displayed on the big screen while you briefly introduce yourself and your research. We strongly encourage you to take part! It’s a great opportunity to increase your visibility and help attendees find your poster during the session.
Uploading your poster
Please upload your poster as a PowerPoint (.pptx/.ppt) or PDF (.pdf) file at your earliest convenience, using the link below.
When prompted, enter your symposium code followed by the presenting author’s last name (e.g., S2 – Santana).
You may also submit your poster on a flash drive to the technical team on the arrival day.
